This Privacy Policy explains how Fusion Power Systems (“Amptek”, “we”, “us”), owner of the brand Amptek and the website https://amptekindia.com (the “Website”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data. It is published under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and rules made under it.

• Data you give us: name, company name, email, phone number, city/state, and the content of your enquiry when you contact us, request a quote, raise a warranty/service request, apply for dealership/OEM partnership, or subscribe to our newsletter.
• Warranty/service data: product serial number, invoice/purchase details, dealer name and address needed to process a claim.
• Automatically collected data: IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, referring URL and timestamps, collected through server logs and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not intentionally collect financial information such as card or bank details through the Website, and we do not sell products online through it.

2. Purposes of processing

We process personal data, with your consent or for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, to: respond to enquiries and provide product/technical information; process quotations, orders placed offline, warranty and service requests; send newsletters and product updates (only if you subscribe); operate, secure and improve the Website; and comply with legal obligations.

Purchases are made through Amptek, its authorised dealers or distributors, under the quotation, invoice and terms issued at that time.

You must be 18 or older, or use the Website under a guardian’s supervision. You agree not to: use the Website unlawfully; upload malicious code; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or copy content for commercial use; or submit false information.

3. Product information

Fusion Power Systems (Amptek) warrants its batteries against manufacturing defects subject to the terms below. Specific warranty periods are stated on the warranty card/invoice supplied with each product and prevail over this page.

1. Warranty period

The warranty period for each product is as stated on its warranty card, invoice or authorised dealer documentation. The warranty starts from the date of the original purchase invoice.

2. How to claim

1. Contact the dealer you purchased from, or our nearest service centre (New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Gurugram), or email info@amptekindia.com / call 0124-4945000.
2. Provide the original invoice, warranty card and battery serial number.
3. The battery will be inspected/tested by an authorised Amptek technician. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will at our discretion repair or replace it with the same or equivalent model.
4. Replacement batteries carry the balance of the original warranty period.

3. Warranty does not cover

• Physical damage, broken/bulged case, tampering, or removed/defaced serial number
• Damage from overcharging, deep discharge, incompatible chargers, short circuit, reverse polarity or faulty vehicle/inverter wiring
• Exposure to fire, water, flooding or extreme temperature; accidents; natural calamities
• Use in applications other than intended, or capacity/configuration altered
• Repair or opening by unauthorised persons
• Normal wear and capacity reduction consistent with age and usage

4. Limitations

Liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the battery. Consequential loss (e.g. loss of use, business or data) is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

5. Battery disposal

Used batteries should be returned to authorised dealers/collection points for recycling under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022. Do not dispose of them in household waste.
